Cash-friendly and bank unfriendly. I lived in Germany for a year and I haven't had to finish a branch so many times in my life as that year.

The idea is that in order for multiple people to collaborate, most of the time you will need a service like Github, Bitbucket or perhaps something you can run yourself. This is a different workflow. Instead of staying in sync via a hosted s

The OP never said fish wasnt meat, so it seems like it could be jab. I can't tell if it was, and I have no real stake in the argument, but when I read the question I felt it could be a bit too open to be interpreted as hostile.

One major benefit is that for any given page in your application, you probably don't need the entire bundle. This is not really true for SPA's, but I hope that's a trend that will eventually sizzle out again except for specia

Technically a millennial here: would take a salary cut any day to not work in the average bank or auditing firm. I worked at a PwC office for a while but couldn't stand it. In this case I ranked the work place as more important than sa

Yet here we are, one of us is having problems with credit, because they took a 60K loan on a luxury item and then decided they didn't like it. What was your next big loan for?

Maybe don't take out a 60K loan for a luxury item? I understand a car is essential for some people, but 60K is a very expensive one.

I'm very interested in Hypercard and digging up some of these old ideas (and perhaps applying them to the web?) Between these 2 books, which one would you recommend as research?

I also don't understand why Mozilla killed these projects. The original persona (BrowserID) was a pretty solid idea, but I think it's pretty expected for these things to take years of advocacy to pick up. I wonder if it was change

Personally I feel this goes against the spirit of what .eu should stand for. Your government not having their shit together doesn't mean you can't identify as european. They should allow anyone on the continent to own a .eu domain

Not sure if this was a joke or serious, but 'amateur radio' refers basically to people who are into HAM radio. It doesn't necessarily preclude them from also working with radio professionally.

Worth adding that when HTTP/3 arrives, HTTP/1 doesn't go away. I imagine that HTTP/1 will never go away exactly for the reasons why people like it.
