Unless they started in the last 3-4months it definitely makes sense to take this offer. SW salaries have blown up this year and the last couple. Checking levels.fyi a lot of companies are increasing pay month over month. Plus stock packages

Interesting piece. Definitely have to read it from a lens of a highly paid tech worker, nothing wrong with that either. Buying an electric vehicle right now if you aren't a highly paid engineer is a bit of a wedge I'd say though.
