I agree with this, I work for an ebook company and our sales are 2-3x what they usually are for this time of year. Even so, well done experimenting with a different model Jeff, you'll have a larger (and more appreciative) fan base beca

One interesting search engine is https://millionshort.com/ , you can choose to exclude the most popular sites from search results. It would be good if Google etc did this with a subset of returned results, e.g. show 2 out of

I'm wondering if the CO2 stored could be optimised through coppicing. Historically this technique was used to maximise the amount of wood for shipbuilding.

I've been doing this for 3 years now and it works great for me. 3/4 of our company are 4 days or less a week and in the last 5 years we've turned a loss making company into something quite profitable. We generally have one sh

I was 4 days 32 hours for 7 years, now I do 3 days 24 hours. It has allowed me to spend time a lot of time with my boy. Now that he's started school I generally work on side projects in my 2 extra days and do the school pickups. Of cou

My 83 year old dad has updated his website since the mid 90s, it's actually pretty interesting to look back it in the Wayback machine, the design is exactly the same in 97. He'd really get a kick out of it if someone commented on

I think it's good advice for a lot of people. You're a role model for them, if you're always checking your phone your distraction will rub off on them. I try to spend a couple of hours each day with my kid focusing 100% on wh

Hey Nir, I just finished your book (loaned from the library). I feel like it has a lot of good information, however the people who are most likely to benefit from it are least likely to read it, or read anything at all for that matter. I&#x

World Land Trust is a good option, you can "buy" land per acre to protect it in perpetuity. I think we need to protect what we have and then look at rewilding as a second step. If we continue clearing wild areas (e.g the Amazon ra

I was actually looking for something similar to this recently. Very first thing you need to do is fix your title and description tags for SEO. Second, contact some sites where this product might be useful for their users.

There definitely needs to be a paradigm shift so that companies have a motivation to repair their products. One way would be to change the ownership of the products back to those that produce them and the consumer loans them from these comp
