It definitely has a few practical purposes. I have used this for a website for a small magazine. Their issue was that they didn't have resources to design for the web. This was a good solution, wherein they just needed to upload a PDF once

I agree. Having been suddenly thrusted into the world of Ruby, Rails (and web development in general) from Java and C, Micheal's tutorial was a real life saver. I would have been lost in the crowd had it not been for this. Excellent!

In my case all of my domains are on name.com (and I haven't had a problem with them so far either); for my smaller personal sites the DNS is managed by my shared hosting provider and for others Route 53.

You are talking about the scene 3 or 4 years back. There is a significant amount of background checks before credit cards are issued especially if you are not employed in a big brand IT company.

The show is broadcast in 7 languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali and Marathi. I would say this is the more 'national' than most of the other shows - the reach would be close to 80-90% of the population atleast.

Malayalam renders perfectly on Firefox (7.0) for me on Ubuntu (11.04). Though I have found some minor glitches on Chromium (13.0).
