Fascinating idea. I guess the current format is the result of over head transparencies or basically a book format. No reason to stick with it, unless you have to be conservative. Anyway, do you use a template? Or any tooling?

Seems like a valid way to learn vendor's platform to me. If I was looking for an AWS person having credentials from Amazon would be a big selling feature.

Thanks for the keywords — looks like some tooling already exists for this ( https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/935264945 ), though it’s mostly focused on articles. Gotta do some more research on this.

Interesting. Do you have an automated way of breaking books down, or are you doing it manually?

Agreed. In particular, how do you order these? And how does it fit within spaced repetition paradigm?.. I've been struggling with reading classics. I wonder if it would help.

I have what I feel is an irrational desire to build an RPi k8s cluster. I feel like I would be better served by a small x86 box, but something about having a real cluster really appeals to me.

Yeah that's what I kinda figured. It's interesting but doesn't make sense from a financial standpoint.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question; but I see that it has SATA support. Does that mean this can be shoehorned into NAS service? I have an irrational desire to create a cluster, but I would like to use it for something practical like a

The use case is tinkering. I think it’s pretty sweet to be able to build a super low cost cluster like this. Play with docker, k8s etc.

Still got it attached to my server box. Other than comfort being able to pop it in the dishwasher for deep cleaning is my fav feature.

There was no context to gp’s question. In a corporate environment you’d for sure trust a shiny headshot. You don’t want to be responsible for a greasy nerd but nobody’s been fired for hiring IBM.

But story points are estimates. Estimates are never set in stone. I’ve successfully argued this many times in the past. Software development is too complex for estimates to be always correct. Anyway don’t mean to preach, sounds like you’re

Same trick as gp, you don’t wanna break the chain. If you’re interrupted whether self imposed or external, the Pomodoro doesn’t count. If you procrastinate, it doesn’t count.

What a great counter example. Very inspiring, thank you for bringing it up. I'm having a tough time elucidating and expressing my feelings on this subject. I've gone through burnout, which was largely self inflicted tbh, with sile
