My options are Comcast, Century Link, satellite, and some kind of mobile tethering or just using my phone. Comcast is going to be the source of all of my problems if NN crumbles, so let's look at Century Link. I could be same amount of

I think we can do better. You know those comically bad volume sliders that were all the rage on reddit earlier this year? Let's apply that to entire list of long/lats!

And any other word you'd expect a comic book villain to utilize when describing their world-domination plans(decimate, eviscerate, blasts, etc.)?

I tried switching to DDG a few years ago, but I found myself using !ge more often than not, so I wasn't really sure what the point of using DDG was. For my needs, DDG's results are pretty mediocre. Which is a shame, becuase I'

Serious question...what use is git to a non-developer? I don't think I've ever used it for anything but code. You're not supposed to use it with huge files, so that kind of eliminates the one case I was thinking of (graphic d

Ugh, that pricing model though. $50/yr for something as 'simple' as a frontend for git when so many comparable alternatives exist for free.

Firefox -> Chrome is a sidegrade at best. Literally only reason I use it is because I got fed up with weird little CSS quirks I couldn't replicate in IE or FF, but were very present in Chrome.

I'm way out of the path of totality and I live in a small town, I should be ok. But we'll see. Failing that I'll just make a pin hole viewer.

So I bought a pack of glasses off of Amazon a few weeks ago. I made sure they were listed as adhering to the ISO standard before buying, confirmed the ISO logo and # on the glasses themselves once they arrived, and then proceeded to try the

I was under the impression that the diamond ring is what makes it so dangerous to look at an eclipse with naked eyes. Because your eyes adjust to the darkness and in an instant it's flooded with a fuckton of sunlight.

I don't think so. All I've got is Windows Defender and seeing as how that's a default program in 8 and 10, I'd expect a little more effort on Chocolatey's part to notifier users about that if it was the cause. I don

Only thing I could really point to is a number of incredibly mild winters a few years in a row. But even then, I was under the impression that climate change wasn't particularly measurable on a year-by-year scale. Maybe I'm wrong.
