The AR was a fun little gimmick and it was the subject of the early articles about the game (Pokemon IRL!!!). But I personally turned it off a few days in because of how much of an increased battery drain it was and having to position yours

Clearly they can. Google especially likes throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. Whether or not their brand can afford the failures, is another question, but from a financial standpoint, they're much better equipped to weat

Doesn't help that the Imgur community tends to be incredibly toxic toward reddit's, which is hilarious given the parasitic relationship you described. There's even a subreddit for it! /r/IgnorantImgur

Any extra love and attention given to what I'd consider to be one of the greatest resources out there for web developers is great news to me.

Elementary feels like it was cobbled together to look gorgeous (and it does), but zero thought was put into performance and stability. I would take literally any other Ubuntu-derived distro over Elementary any day

LTT did a review and for at least one game the result was worse performance in game mode. It was minutely worse and probably within margin of error for something as fickle as hardware, but still. Not an improvement.

What it comes down to for me is that I can do my job (web development) on Windows just fine. But I'm going to spend the entire time trying to trick Windows into doing Linux things. Mintty for terminal stuff, VMs or the new Ubuntu mode

I second this one! It's the only resource I've needed and still use for flexbox. I've got most use cases committed to memory by now, but every now and then I need to visually see what I'm trying to do and quickly referen

You'd sound less nutty if you cited actual words from the deal to backup your claims.

Sounds like a problem between the artist and their label. Clearly the labels have no issue with the money paid out to them for the streaming rights.

This has proven true time and time again for myself. Steam, Spotify, Netflix, and Sling all lead to the elimination of me pirating media. And I'm a lot more inclined to spend money on the occasional game/album/movie/show

I had a really bad day a few weeks back and in my 'rage' I quickly created a dead simple, self-hosted blogging platform in PHP for myself to keep a journal. But by the time I'd finished it, I'd calmed down and didn'

It's almost always some ass hole above the developers. We're not idiots and we know what does/doesn't work. But we don't always make the decisions.

I seriously doubt that. It's not going to take 8 years for this Russia shit to hit the fan and him get impeached. I'd be surprised if it took 4, tbh. And I certainly don't see him winning reelection with the abysmally low app

Is there usually a delay in updates being available to the "in-app" updater? Getting "No updates available" when I check. edit: manual download is very slow. Maybe things are just a bit bogged down at the moment.
