Not sure if you’re interested in feedback, but I found well world intimidating and didn’t understand the objective/affordances. Clicked it and had a bunch of letters and no idea what to do. Closed it. Looks pretty though.

Another big concern will be regulatory. It seems unlikely a couple billion people whose livelihood is significantly impacted will just chill as it happens? I think it’s unlikely, but no less likely than the compute issues mentioned.

No. ChatGPT’s UI is incredibly simple and basically exactly what ever chat bot test repl looks like. The delta of GPT3 -> ChatGPT is from the expanded context and control the model offers through fine tuning. Eg read the instructgpt pape

This might be an interesting language model. However people care about ChatGPT entirely due to its quality, which this doesn’t demonstrate yet.

Also have a uHoo. Kind of hate the UI, but it seems like a decent sensor. While my CO2 spikes during cooking on gas, fortunately NO2 remains low. 5-15 ppb range. My gas furnace is in the basement, several floors away from my apartment.

Yes, it’s complicated, for sure. But if we amortize over 3 years, and triple costs for the power: it’s ~500k/yr for hardware and ~100k/yr for power. In terms of TPUs or other custom accelerators, sure, they exist. However most d

Hardware is not cheap either at this scale. Reallly rough math follows, please anyone correct me if I err. A100 cards are >$10,000 each. A node is typically 8 and a cluster might be 64 A100s. So about a million in hardware for the medium
