Agreed - feels like fewest links requires more thought and less manic clicking.

I… what? Your complaint makes no sense. What are you objecting to? Chouinard’s wealth was his ownership of Patagonia, which was valued >$1B. Not a liquid billion in a bank. There’s nothing that contests he has 2 modest houses and a beat

DSP’s best feature is that it’s windows only, so playing on a Mac is low key terrible. That’s helped keep me to only 200 hours played.

There was a long thread last week. It’s honestly pretty good if you follow the instructions. 30-40 seconds/image.

Maybe it’s just poorly tilted then? This literally IS. I guess they are trying to imply other problems aren’t? But that would apply to some other theoretical question not mentioned here…

In that book in 1981 it’s quite likely to be a problem faced by the grandmother of many current programmers.

T4 is great for some stuff. And total trash for many other things you might want A100/H100 for.

Agreed - seemed like some interesting stuff, but not well written. Needs a quality editor and a few more drafts.

I’d love to read more about this. Could you recommend a summary/article?

Seems wild to build a new python NLP library totally disconnected from the current ecosystem. Particularly spaCy, but really any of NLTK, gensim, huggingface. Would love to understand the context of that choice.

Most efficient to burn the gas for electricity and use that to power a heat pump.

Could you share more on the legal entities that underlie Column? In particular, what’s actually chartered at OCC and a member of FDIC? I can’t find you, but maybe you just have a different name (for now?)

Doesn’t that make it even worse? You invade, destroy the environment, and the beings that lived there don’t like it. So you commit genocide and unilaterally decide to destroy the planet.

10 Billion. Honestly seems kind of low? I guess in SPY that would be only $650m, so definitely beating the benchmark.

It’s a shame the board game really isn’t very fun to play at all. It’s such a thoughtful and faithful adaptation of a great video gams, but ends up being just a complex, stressful slog.
