No, that's your interpretation. OP merely gave examples of acceptable (mis)conduct. If you want to know where the boundary sits, go ask OP. I, for one, also wouldn't know why it matters what the toolmaker voted or to what organisa

I know a phone company where just the cronjob that sends bills took over 3 days to run. I guess it's not a problem until it takes more than a month.

Well then you'd have somewhat of a chicken-and-egg problem. But humans came first so at least there's that.

I had the exact same thought! One guy could maintain their OS. No forced compiler flags, internal binhost, everything else same as what they had.

I think your analogy goes the wrong way. If you buy bananas from a grocery store, along the entire chain of people that were involved in selling you that banana there could be all kinds of sick fucks. You'd never know because you'

Just an educated guess, but perhaps there are optional dependencies missing in the arm64 version. Some programs are still broken or perform badly on arm64.

I'm not sure why there's a problem before even trying. Say for instance you have a program that keeps recipes. In your configuration file, there's settings such as metric/imperical units, allergies, diets, type of stove

JSON is obviously a poor choice. It's job is to interchange data, produced and parsed by computers. ESR had the idea of writing configuration in English. It didn't gain traction at the time, but we have LLMs now. It might be a goo

One does not "discover" a CVE like this. To discover a CVE would mean you searched for a particular piece of software and found it vulnerable according to the NVD. That's not a novel discovery by any means. What they did is t
