Modern farming is anything but antiquated. A lot of science goes into it, and it's the most efficient use of national resources to produce food. The downsides you mentioned is purely the fault of the market, not farming itself.

I think that if a site asks you to fill a form along with attaching a résumé, then it's a scam, and they're just using you to train their AI.

These numbers are absolutely insane. In Poland 300 EUR per day is a good senior level salary. If I earned 10k per day, I'd quit after a year, but a medium house, and live very comfortably just from a 2% interest rate for the rest of my

This sounds like an absolute nightmare to implement. The point of UBI is to have a safety net so that you can spread your wings and pursue passion projects and ventures. It's not supposed to be a ball and chain you bear so that you can

So the video creator has to obtain consent forms from all the people in their video? How is Google going to verify consent forms from poeple who's face isn't in their database? What about voice? This line of reasoning is turning d

Why would you avoid iOS updates? I only buy middle of the line used iPhones about every 3 years, and had no issues all the way into EOL. Apple keeps their phones updated for 6+ years and they always run smoothly. It's like the only gre

It's not an ad hominem. Matt Taibi was fed partial information by Musk, and decided to publish it anyway, losing all credibility in the process. And even though the data was hand-picked by Musk who had the biggest axe to grind, it ulti

Are you serious? Your source is Matt Taibi's reporting on the Twitter Files? That journalistic abortion was not taken seriously by anybody outside Musk's sycophant circles, and Taibi disavowed it long ago.

I can't get past the fact the author felt the need to explain what RPG statistics are. What does the "PAID" tag mean on substack?

What's your source of this? I remember reading that the number of accepted requests from governments increased significantly under Musk.

I never felt the need to talk to a computer or have things summarised for me. I so far have no need to "increase my productivity". LLMs don't improve my life. This has nothing to do with being neurodivergent. You'd do yo

It can still damage property. I'd love to see how you can handle suing a corporation from another country when you could barely pay your mortgage and now your house is gone, and you forgot to get space debris insurance. Just because no

I don't understand this logic. You're framing this like humanity as a whole is supposed to take the risk here. This is a private company throwing junk from space on people who didn't agree to anything.

Does it matter what their strategy is? This is vaporware. People consume information through search engines and platforms. If there's a market for fact-checking AI, it'll probably be developed in-house, since all the big companies

Don't understand this comment. Did Leicester believe the Atlantis nonsense? Why bring this up? I would imagine, if he lived in Bimini, he would've seen enough beachrock to know better.

To go a step further, I don't think you should be required to talk to middlemen when buying stocks, yet here we are. The house wants its cut.

Still can't believe you can build a career in this business out of saying we'll have more advanced technologies in the future. Slap a number on it while you're at it. Sell a book.
