I think the first option is to go to AWS and tell them that. They can discount prices + have staff to help you reduce your bills. I'd start here actually

it's interesting how Amazon is now positioning themselves as a tier 1 employer. They used to be a tier2. AFAIK they also have a brutal pager culture where you're awoken in the middle of the night.

You can do actually things with gold. More than you'd expect (for instance http://geology.com/minerals/gold/uses-of-gold.shtml ) BTC is quite different as it is only a "value store" and is inflation

People used to say the same thing about Wintel until the Web appeared. Not to say his points are wrong just that it lacks some historical perspective. IMHO, these companies are on the verge of becoming irrelevant actually.

I just got that a huawei p8 lite 2017. I paid it <200$ and it's pretty good. It feels like an iPhone rip off and you need to uninstall a few apps/change some settings in param. Overall I'm surprised that it's that goo

If you do lots of console works (e.g. script shell, Linux system stuff), learn emacs or vim. On the other hand if you're a front end Web dev or an Android dev there is probably not much point except from a curiosity point of view
