I liked the article. But like most "models", it's an approximation of reality. In most large companies I know, these are not distinct phases. All of these stages and "revolutions" are usually in full swing in a mess

I'm confused. What does budget have to do with using Blender? I thought a big movie budget is needed mainly for the labor and artistry, and comparatively little goes into software licensing. Is that not the case?

A follow-up of this tweet indicates that you found the person responsible for this mess, and was not authorized by Cloudflare to do this. Great. But it also sounds like a reasonably common occurrence, and hence a systematic problem.

That's pretty much it. It's notoriously easy to reach Turing Completeness without even trying. If you search for "Accidentally Turing Complete", you'll find several lists like this: https://beza1e1.tuxen.

There are many, many papers that show how you can make innocuous changes to inputs to make neutral nets produce the wrong result. You might be overestimating the difficulty of this process.

"Certifiably neutral" So, by a process that hasn't been designed yet. Especially when one considers how opaque most neutral nets are to human scrutiny.

You've touched on regulation being one source of this problem. But do you think prices will become more normal if regulations disappeared? What do you think is different between the US health care regulatory structure, vs. those in oth

The new particles in this case aren't "smaller" than the ones we already know about. They are short-lived because they are heavier. They quickly decay into something simpler. Extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence.
