   I keep them so when people view my profile they think i'm 10x. by the same token I open random 1 change pull requests to popular repos to make myself look like an integral part of the community. Gotta collect them green squares

   Yes, I first noticed it about 9 years ago when I first created an account. It's been that way for so long that people just accept it. As a work around I have starting 'sniping' a little earlier, around 24 hours before the auc
