I think I'd rather just sanity check an incoming const than trust developers with global state. All it takes is one idiot to mutate one of those vars and all sorts of hell can break loose.

I've found people like this tend to think of others as Pokemon to collect and not to have real relationships with. They're desperate to brag to their friends about the rare ethnicities on their friends list

Part of the problem is that there's no real negative feedback in a government project. I've been attached to government work in the past, and the whims of the PMs change day to day because the people there were often just promoted

It's the same problem as every alternative social media platform, no one's on it. I'm active on Minds and have a niche following there, but it's still very insular on there

Even jobs that pay horribly expect you to subject yourself to 10s of thousands of dollars in debt to have a degree now. It's ridiculous.

As long as I can turn it off can't say I care much. Google can tut at me all it wants, but at the end of the day I'm still going to ignore them.

People say the same about the religious right 20-30 years ago. The modern, younger right really isn't concerned with censoring video games or making blasphemy illegal, but the general perception by anyone on the outside is that they&#x

I once wrote a fusker for a paid porn site I realised just had its shit hanging out in the open. 4 days of runtime and I had a collection that left me wondering what the hell was wrong with me.

I read an article a while ago saying that for millennials, they love follower counts and likes, while zoomies will freely move between platforms with the days' trends without really caring about that stuff.
