I think a lot of people act that way because they fear retribution. I've never met a true believer behind closed doors, but I'm pretty openly conservative so maybe people know I'm not going to judge them if they don't pa

Ok honest question, who was their actual target audience? I know there are a lot of people that are performative radicals that might spout this kind of thing, but you get them in a room alone and they're not at all like that. I don

I thought the timing of that one was interesting too. They ran out of money after wasting it all on outreach and then implemented this. It was probably always meant to be a distraction

Interesting that they lead with Joe Biden falling asleep (for which there's video proof) and lump it in with internet boomer schizo talking points. Feels like CNN might be trying to prime the pump a little.

I've brought this up that 2 days is where I see a benefit with myself and my team. With us 50/50 the weeks where we come in three times everybody is just tired and demoralised. Anything more than 3 days and we're all essentia

Caught a workmate in my team out as well. We can't create accounts and keep it all in the cloud at our job, so we had to find an installer for an older version. Absolutely scummy behaviour

This is a good point and something else I have noticed. Juniors are the ones suffering without oversight from those of us that have made all their mistakes before. There's been more than a few times where I've thought "if I c

I think this is pretty much bang on. Our team was going into the office once a week, some of us had even started going in twice a week because it just made meetings easier. Then the RTO mandate happened and we suddenly have to be back in 50

The FAANG interviews I've done have all been algorithm and OS internal heavy. I'd say buy yourself a copy of the algorithms textbook and work through that. I didn't get an offer, though, so take my advice with a grain of salt

We should just tear down all the intelligence agencies and start again. Even if there was fire to go with this smoke, they're going to lie so they can continue to operate with impunity anyway. Distraction after distraction after distra

Front end dev is a real discipline. Massive respect for the amount of crap they put up with from their tools. That being said, I don't need a new UI every 12 months.

The one that pissed me off was moving workflows to the top of the screen rather than having them in the chat box. The org I work for uses a lot of them, and they're all hidden behind a small button that takes me out of the flow trying

I don't think that's it, it's more that line has stopped going up and they need someone to blame that isn't the gross misallocation of their own resources. Investing has been incredibly short sighted for the last 40 year
