Wasn't there an ssh client extension already? How did it work if raw sockets weren't available?

No, it is about a hypothetical project, while there are already lots of people actually building stuff (and yes they do know about github and VCS).

There are already lots of people working on that kind of things, e.g.: http://www.opencongress.org/ There was a barcamp not long ago: http://transparencycamp.org/ with many people from all over the world.

Most country with a codification system also publish consolidated codes, so you don't have to apply the diff yourself.

I've been wondering, how long does it take for a change to go from an edit in OSM, to being live in a routing app using OSM data? (If such an app exists) Editing something is usually fast, having it percolate to all users of the data is muc

That said, as I user, I benefit directly from correcting the data in GMaps, while since I don't heavily use OSM on mobile, it is a nice gesture from me but isn't giving me much if I change OSM.

You get a referrer, but it won't contain the search keywords.

Google decides what the referrer is since it redirects first to a url it controls (downgrading to http if necessary).

Yes, just checked, they strip the keywords from the referrer when using https.

If you want to search amazon, or the python website, why give your query to ddg? Especially if you don't have to when you use browser keywords.

But chrome and firefox provide it for years, without giving up your queries to a 3rd party search engine.

Yes, copyright law is complicated. You need to make sure the script used to create a deobfuscated binary isn't a derived work from the original binary, whatever that means (that's where consulting with a lawyer can help).
