You have no idea about ad network at all. "unnecessarily track"? Tracking is the only way to make the ad relevant to you and increase the ad's value so you actually see fewer ads and those ads fund better content. Without any

As an engineer in a Ads company, I totally agree. It's not just grab ad content from your customer, write some api integration with various publisher and send them the ad. The complexity involved in serving an ad properly and efficient

As someone who came from other country, I'm shocked in how easy it is to get a driver license in US. I know a lot of people getting a driver license with less than 20 hours behind the wheel. FYI, I got a US driver license in Illinois,

I don't think people don't buy Airport because it doesn't have web interface. I guess the real reason is the price. If you looks at all routers at $200 price range, Airport probably has the worst looking spec.

Are you carefully reading my comment? I said we are all in California, one of them is in Amazon Irvine while the other is in Amazon Palo Alto. And before you make any further guess, I'm in Redwood City not San Francisco. So there'

It is, but it's still in Vegas and it looks like the original CEO has pretty good control over the company. My friend had interview there back in college and they seems kinda over-obsessed with "culture fit". I mean when most

Pay was great? Really? Maybe it's true for Seattle. I've done an internship at AWS couple years back and I chose not to return for fulltime, while two of my colleagues did. We're all in california and they both left Amazon be

I definitely prefer knob and large button like those from a 2007, 2008 base model family sedan without a screen. But some times you need touch screen for this or that kind of extra feature. So my personal favorite system so far are iDrive a

I can't believe he said electric cars are more fun to drive. There're fun to drive electric cars such as tesla and fiat 500e, but they're never more fun to drive than most (if not all) other cars in it's price range. The

Regardless of the compiler, let's say (x << 3) is slightly more efficient than (x * 8), I don't see it make such difference since my job will probably be writing code for webapp sort of things. For the things I do I actually
