ES6 modules are just brilliant, it's like a breath of fresh air in JavaScript development. Your browser sees exactly the same thing as you write, which is such a great simplification. And yeah, you can still bundle/minify for prod

I think the Hot Reload stuff is still in its infancy. From what I read, it doesn't yet support stuff like async/await, LINQ, lambdas (and few other things). And those are used a lot in modern .NET apps. Still a great improvement i

When you write a React component, there are all kinds of ways where React calls you, e.g. the hook mechanisms. And that can be considered a framework in my opinion. It also tells you how you should write your components, which is another si

npm audit reports known vulnerabilities, but I think it doesn't help against supply chain attacks, or does it?

This is a double edged sword. Because on one hand, you do pick up hotfix patches, but on the other hand, you are possibly bit more exposed to supply chain attacks. Any ideas on how to balance that out? Or should we just not consider supply

When cooking, we often optimize for flavor and texture. But what about digestion and nutrition and how each person has different preferences and a different body? It starts getting very complicated quite fast, so many variables...

This happened to me, but with a microphone instead of sound output. One day I boot my laptop, join a Teams call, and my microphone is not getting any sound anymore. I had to figure out later that Windows Update automatically installed a new

I recently installed a Toshiba RC100 into my T480's WWAN slot. Are the newer models worse in this aspect? The T480 is not the newest, but still pretty modern.

However, the 12.5.4 is still quite a recent update (from June). I think there could still be some security fixes in the future, but probably only for very serious vulnerabilities.

I also have one more theory which is that this effect can be caused by the network aspect of Facebook. Maybe I haven't been interested in a specific topic, but one of my friends was. And Facebook is serving me ads because they were rel
