I'm not sure I follow your logic here, micro-formats are part of the HTML of the local businesses website, search engines and other crawlers can collect and parse this data . This is just like the local business owner telling the rest of th

I think this usecase is already covered very well by microformats and the various metadata standards that already exist and are supported by Google, Facebook et al. I'm not sure the argument that these are too complicated for non-developers

Seems like a great idea with a noble cause. I wonder if you will struggle to get people to signup though - perhaps you could appeal to people's vanity more and tell them they'll get more followers by signing up to CC. ;-)

Agreed, a platform like this hasn't really existed before so it's difficult if not impossible to point to an example for that reason.

Like you say, many of the big Asian companies are prime examples - Yamaha manufactures Motorcycles and Synthesizers, seems like a good combination!

agreed, it would be great to know how this is running from a hardware point of view - just out of personal interest :-)

Totally understood, seems like there must have been a lot of backend / technical work to get this far - did it come from a personal need/itch? As you are asking for permission to access to people's personal / private files I think it's real

This article was definitely interesting reading for someone that knows nothing about acquisitions, not so much for the particular fate of Instagram but for the details of how stock/cash deals can work and the stock collar possibilities...

Totally understood, by the way - what is it that makes it depend on Bootstrap, could it be easily decoupled?

Seems like a clever growth feature and could be huge for spreading the Quora brand in a similar way to YouTube, the answers on Quora are invariable excellent too.

This is really nice, particularly with the custom ranges - I'm tempted to implement something very similar to this in our admin interface. I do wonder though why you don't allow for entry into the date boxes and agree that the unselectable

Seems like you have the right attitude! Shipping a "crappy todo app" is more than many will manage, best of luck with releasing more and more projects in the future.

Reminds me of of the description of Abraham Lincoln in How to Win Friends, although I guess here Steve wasn't the one that decided not sent the letter - it seems like it was a wise choice either way! For those that haven't read, a good desc

For me I think this will be one of the more interesting aspects of the move. I know very little about the culture and the conflict - bar what I have read briefly on wikipedia and what gets fed through the news channels. I hope to learn a lo

Definitely a good point, however Linode don't offer dedi's and it didn't make sense from a time investment point of view to move away from them until this point.

Hey Amir, Totally agree with what you are saying here, particularly once the idea is validated and you start to see good adoption. I've used todoist and wedoist for a long time and it certainly is reliable ;-) This post mainly covers the re

Good idea, I think the best practice across the web right now is to let the user choose when they want a new tab. Just hit CTRL while you click to create a new tab.
