I wonder if you could just place a tax on premium gas, the type that fancy cars take - so that it minimises any potential affect on low-income households.

This post makes it sound like Github has it's own data centers and power infrastructure structure, this is definitely news to me.. I'd presumed co-lo at best.

Damn, lucky they send out emails after a customer service interaction or you'd have never had any idea this even took place.

OP: Did you try this on Mac? I'm pretty sure Electron is only being used on Windows and Linux unless they recently made the switch..

They already have machines that take your order through a touchscreen in some McDonalds... that's half the jobs gone in one swoop!

I might get some hate, but I also think upsert was one of the best features that MongoDB offered that PG didn't, so this is a big win from that perspective too.

I guess it's aesthetics either way, having only two wheels allows the robot to turn on the spot as well without risk of hitting anything/anyone... Plus isn't self-balancing kind of segway's thing?!

LoraWan is super interesting for IOT but as far as I understand it acts more like a traditional radio transmitter? Great for collecting data from lots of discrete sensors but less for bi-directional data transfer

Maybe they could paint them in a special livery so that you could tell it's a Lyft from a distance ;)

Not discouraging your prototype/project at all, but make sure to check out http://www.aftership.com - service works really well for lots of different couriers :)

Docker acquired Tutum ( http://tutum.co ) not so long ago. I've been using it for a few months and pretty impressed if anyone is looking for a Heroku for Docker it's the closest thing so far I'd say...

Long time user/supporter of both NW and Electron, It's worth noting that Electron has surpassed NW in almost every way at this point. If you want to program against clean node-style API's then Electron is the one to choose.
