This is just going to mean students use it from home or from their phones. And the issue is that you can't prove ChatGPT has been used, so cheating is that simple.

That sucks. The point of wireless charging is zero friction, which means there should be nothing that stops me from putting the phone down on the bad, and nothing that fights against me when I pick it up. The magnet does that.

The problem is that it forces people to vote for the lesser evil as well. Sure you can vote for your loved party, but if that only gets two votes then your ballot gets counted for your second choice anyway. We need a system where you’re vot

When you test new medicine you do that in small scale trials, then you find out if it is effective and then scale it up. How would you suggest this approach is tested without testing it on a small scale?

Only if we do it on a truely massive scale, and Global warming is known to be dangerous. This might be. The difference should be obvious.

Would you support this if it was an Afro American? Somebody has to do something about climate change. Our governments aren’t doing shit, if you got a better idea please go ahead.

This is easy: have something that is worth reading. I don't mind email and I have used my technical skills to organize it well, so I can get ten times the efficiency out of it I otherwise would.

This isn't a bookmark manager, but I have migrated from bookmarks/long lived open tags to Apple Notes. The reason is many: I can organize it easier that way, there is no issue having 50 or 100 links in a note and I can write notes

Simple: Person hates Windows. Person wants to work for a company that is willing to pay the cost of tools, and using Apple is a good proxy for this. Unfortunately in hiring all we have a (frequently imperfect) proxies.

Yes. Typed languages such as C/C++ were annoying because the type system was too simple, but Typescript is much more powerful and it infers most things automatically. Plus you have structural types, so you can start converting one part

Around here in Denmark, you just get a notice for what shop you can go and pick it up in. The same thing happens if you are home, but they are lazy. I like the US version better, but it needs to be paired with a severe penalty for theft.

Ranked choice voting is not gonna solve the problem. You need to add none-of-the-above to the ballot, which will count as a vote against all the politicians. If no one wins the election, that is okay. A new election can always be had.
