Agreed. Read my other comments on this thread and you'd think I'm a super Slack fan, but be wary - other people's platforms when they're this young are opportunities but you don't know what the next few years bring.

Have you ever even USED Slack? The apps are amazing, it's 50% of why people use Slack. There have been apps since I've known about it which has been almost since it launched.

In marketing material they use the word "accelerator" constantly. Poke around Twitter, you'll see it. Not cool IMO.

Dwolla uses Yodlee or Plaid (I think Yodlee) to verify transfers and then moves the money. They're a payments service not the data side.

I've been using Plottable recently and it's great. Hope it gets more widely used so there's more material out there about it - it's SUPER powerful but the documentation is hard to understand if you're really trying

Yeah that makes sense. Whether it was a hit piece or not is what I was encouraging people to avoid making a judgement on (echo-chamber risk, etc) but the fact that lacks substance is a fact.

According to accounts there were bidders from 2B to 3.5B and Fidelity came in at 4.5B at the last second to win the bid. The fact that they now wrote it down to the range others were bidding at is essentially meaningless.
