Have you ever interviewed at Google? They care about syntax, psuedocode will not cut it in the interviews... and Google has a lot of strong programmers.

"Water is almost guaranteed death" But let's say you are still strapped to your airplane seat, or you can grab hold of another large object and ride it. Are your chances of surviving better landing in water or on ground?

Tech center of the world with a 1970's subway system that sucks in more ways than one (hurts your ears inside and out, dirty, not on time, not many stops, frequent maintenance issues, etc.).

Yes. It makes them feel good about themselves showing they have a higher salary than others. Even anonymously, would you want to report your under average salary? I mean you could, but would you take the effort to create a throwaway account

Give up trying to beat the market, just call it a day and invest in a S&P 500 index fund. Hedge funds and money managers that get paid $1m+/year can't even beat the S&P 500 in the long run (20+ years). The only one that ha

You think preparation alone can get you in the Big4? Obviously you are very smart if you passed every single one of their interviews multiple times. Hard work alone won't get you there. Just curious, so where do you work now?

Unless you're near genius-level smart. Then you will easily get offers from all the big4 w/o much prep.
