- imaginenore 10y agoI have more time to try new tech than when I was employed. And 2 years is ridiculous - maybe in the javascript world, but not in the rest of IT.
- psyc 10y agoI've never allowed myself to believe this. I've taken 1-2 years off 3 separate times during my career. It never took me more than a month to get back in - great jobs at top companies each time. Good programmers are still in demand, and not every company seeks to hire to a specific tech stack.
