I read it as a side note to the reader that this information has not been confirmed by the company yet so it could be false. However they did ask them but did not get an answer. Also that it’s not unreasonable that they did not get an answe

Isn’t telegram free? If you’re interested why not just sign up? This isn’t a good first impression when you’re trying to get hired.

I’d agree with you if any of them that did this had a stable or positive stock price. Looking at tech stocks and it’s hard to find an example where I feel the hiring was a good thing.

This entire topic really comes down to where I want to live. If there was an office near me I’d love to go in. However, I don’t want to commute. I live in the city I grew up in. I love it here, my whole family lives here. So I’m also not in

Most of them over hired like crazy during the pandemic bubble. I wouldn’t say they were stupid but collectively most of them made a massive mistake. So yeah it isn’t hard to believe for me. I don’t think the layoffs are a stupid decision bu

I get a mix of feelings, sadness definitely one of them. Seeing these pictures almost takes you back in time but you know you can’t actually go back. “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened” -Dr Seuss

I always assumed it was because the Java virtual machine required more memory to operate at the same efficiency as the ARC apps on iOS.

I think most of us generally agree but it is interesting to see the impact. I’m curious how many people tap ”Allow app to track me”. Knowing what it used for and feeling like it isn’t _that_ big of a deal, I have never once given permission

My guess would be that most of the small margin advertisers can’t afford these traffic channels anymore. Anyone who can’t afford to attribute traffic at a wider scale.

Good point! I’ll refine my statement and simply suggest that those with smaller margins are unable to afford to do this same thing.

It has been brought up in the earnings reports for most ad tech companies since it was released. It’s been a massive impact. Anyone who wants to measure the impact of their ads is now competing with big players who can afford to spray and p

I don’t think wanting apolitical information is a weird hill to die on. I didn’t read the last commenters link but maybe it just didn’t give the best examples. If you search, you will definitely find examples where it will refuse to answer

Don’t be afraid of ChatGPT but don’t underestimate what it and others like it will be capable of as it is iterated on. You found one category of prompt that needs some iteration. Good job, if the team wasn’t aware of this already, hopefully

Most of the engineers likely got their shares or refresher grants issued at the higher stock price and are making less than they signed up for already. They take a pay cut when the stock goes down and make more when it goes up. Replacing ke

As always it’s going to depend on the app. The Tesla mobile app in React Native works perfectly fine for me on iOS. At the same time web views for YouTube would probably suck. So many situations and so many options… again I’m very optimisti

We went forward with this exact solution years ago at a company I worked for. In our case our mobile usage was actually really low compared to web. It just didn’t make sense to invest in native development. So we found React Native with web

Somewhere unrealistic ambition has been mistaken for stupidity. If everyone was “realistic” our progress would move so much slower. Breakthroughs happen because of people like Elon. Assuming stupidity is a bit over the top.

I have 100% confidence that a Nazi would not have their own television show on a popular network where they spread Nazi propaganda in America. I do not believe the American people would tolerate it. Seems like a safe bet to me. I don’t need
