That's an interesting point - it's obviously not 'choices' per se that causes 'fanboyism' ... so what is it? Emotional attachment? I could understand that with say religious choices, but why do people get so attached to their phones then?

I agree with your 'no politics' stance (although does SOPA opposition fall under that?), however, I read the article more as a 'tactics developed by accident' than a Occupy advocacy thread. I guess we have slightly different thresholds on t

From your comment, I'm still not clear what your exact objection is to the article. You appear to be complaining that an 'Occupy' thread is rated higher than a 'hiring' thread, yet don't explain why you feel that the Occupy thread doesn't '

If you do a video, make sure it's relevant to your content. If all your video is of you talking - then imho it's a fail. As a visitor, the last thing I want to do is have to sit through a video stream which imparts no additional value beyon

A random thought popped into my head around defacing sites. Rather than defacing the front pages of every website they can, they should change the 404 pages to say something like 'Content censored by SOPA legislation'. Every time someone co

Agree with all the points - especially #3. The speaker made a case that recording with sound was a lot easier and that's why it's better. Whilst it's an advantage, I don't see it as a compelling reason. Frontpage made 'web design' easy - bu

If it's so easy to abuse the DCMA, I'm curious why the 'unwashed masses' haven't been issuing DCMA takedown requests for all the official music industry music videos on YouTube. Wouldn't that quickly highlight how broken the model is?
