I mean, you're looking at up to 151$/kWH wholesale for the batteries. I'm assuming that doesn't include the cost of containers, wiring between them, logic or extra bits for the pack (e.x. IIRC Ford packs auto discharge i

If I had to guess, it's a few factors. They probably overhired during 2020-2022 period like everyone else did. Additionally, AFAIR there were tax rule changes going in play this year that would change the accounting balance sheet. [0]

That would be a good thing if it drove people away... After the WEI incident chrome is pretty dang tainted to me. I'm mostly salty that chromium made Opera go from the wonderful Presto engine to being yet another chromium clone...

I think sometimes the client bindings are/were in need of improvement. As an example, the C# API was originally very 'go-like' and written to .NET Framework, didn't take advantage of a lot of newer features... to the poi

Interesting to think about that. I remember the SuperH had 16 bit instructions (well, SH-5 was variable length,) I wonder whether that would have become 'our future' if ARM hadn't done Thumb back then.

I as a person understand that the GPL, AGPL and it's ilk are (at least in my moral view) a certain level of sacrosanct. I might read GPL code once in a while. But I would never copy-paste it when someone asks for, say, how to do a fa
