The cynic in me would say they did not spend half their time building resumé-ware. But the numbers are probably totally wrong.

The tweet literally says “it’s Apache Cassandra under the hood”. Then it says the reused some tech from DynamoDB which can mean anything.

Popcorn Time already kinda does this and works pretty much flawlessly. You need to download their Electron app though.

I use Popcorntime a lot. It’s the only “service” in the world that just allows me to see what I want regardless of whether it’s on Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Amazon or just cinema. I would pay for a service like this in a heartbeat.

You're correct. You can't tell everyone what to do. Therefore you delegate and add middle management and have overarching goals. Telling a narrative that everyone can interpret willy nilly and pick and choose the bits they like is

Props to you by reacting suitably: worried, but calm and measured and not jumping on some Twitter outrage bandwagon.

As a small SAAS owner I’m always very ambivalent about these things. I use throw away email addresses myself but there is nothing more annoying than seeing the same users sign up over and over again for trials. I think 1/4 of my signup

This is a "startup" made by Bosch and BCG Ventures. The scooters are everywhere in Berlin and quite popular. But the official press note (in German) states they basically ran out of cash and can not see a way to make it profitable

Tried using Forestry (twice!) for Hugo based sites. Never got it to work properly. This was at least 1 year ago.

Was super skeptical about all those Jira replacement SaaS’s out there. But Clubhouse is actually pretty good. For people on the fence, give it a try.

Sad to see this happen, but honestly their SaaS products (Docker Cloud, Docker hub etc.) were absolutely terrible. The UI and UX felt like some half assed intern rush job. Terrible bugs around things like login and teams that just never got

Great you already cut your normal 15 minute one to this. But honestly, it’s still quite long. Of course, context matters and the context of a YC interview is an elevator pitch. In that setting, the “tell us a little about yourself” question
