You can save 10x, but you need to have an x first. So if you've got formula A which costs 500 EUR, and formula B which costs 480, you're saving 20 EUR. If formula C costs 300, you could save 200, which is 10x what you would save u

I thought they worked in groups of 3: one knows how to write, the second knows how to read, and the third is there to keep an eye on the dangerous intellectuals.

I always use the opposite modifier key(s) (e.g. right control + a), which I was told to do when I learned to type Dvorak; but you're welcome.

There's always Ctrl+Insert for copy and Shift+Insert for paste. I know that there's some laptops lacking an insert key, which is terrible, but for keyboard with an insert key the Ctrl/Shift + Insert combos are useful at times

Uplink's not really a 'game these days', though, it's been around for a while. Better examples may be Digimon Story Time Stranger or Le Mans Ultimate.

No. You can replace them with asterisks to mean 'any length is fine', but you can't at compile time check something that's only known at runtime (granted, you could see that it can't match if the variables are, for

If I define a function foo which takes an (Array Float (10 5)) and then define a function bar which uses the result of calling foo with an (Array String (3 3)) then SBCL will print a warning. If I don't redefine foo and call bar with s

Is SolydK not good enough? There's also Mageia if you can stomach RPM instead of Deb (I prefer RPMs, but recognize it's a matter of personal taste).

Check out Common Lisp, it's gradually typed, so if you want you can just write your code like this: (defun fib (n) (declare (type (Integer 0 100) n)) (the (Integer 0 *) (if (< n 2) n (+

SBCL is fantastic, but the resources being poured in GCC and LLVM combined with CPU manufacturers including architectural features to help C and related procedural languages work better make it a massive uphill battle. I suppose that with p

I type Dvorak and I use the opposite modifier key to whichever key I want to modify. So, for example, for Control+A I would hold the right control key and press a. Aside from that, an active hobby with plenty of stretching and strengthening

Lisp syntax is objectively superior because you can write a predicate like thus: (< lower-bound x-coordinate upper-bound) Instead of having to do the awful ampersand dance.

Duckduckgo led me to this wiki page: < https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Heinemeier_Hansson >. I can see why software by the creator of Ruby on Rails gets widely shared. Pretty good 24HLM results too.
