Many useful UI components were written using jQuery. I no longer write anything in jQuery but I still use it at times because of this. Give it another 5-10 years and I might find myself saying the same about React.

One possibility: As productivity has increased, so has availability of credit. Servicing debt is soaking up our increased productivity. I don't think it's just a coincidence that the FIRE sector has grown so spectacularly.

While it's true that 'wealth' isn't directly correlated with claims on our world's natural resources (e.g. 'intellectual property' is included), largely it is. I would prefer not to live in a society where

My experience may be of interest to you. I first used LSD around 15-16. It was fun in that novel kind of way. Not life-changing. Around a year later I moved to a new place where LSD was much more accessible and much cheaper. Myself and some

Designers might. As a developer it was a great relief that pretty much all of the designers I work with adopted Figma. I could finally stop paying $500/y just to view files. With Figma I don't pay anything and can thoroughly inspe
