Have you tried https://www.notejoy.com ? It has e2e encryption, 2-fa, markdown, fulltext search and collaboration and a super-clean UI. It's missing tables feature though, but it's on their roadmap as currently being w

You're right, SameSite became properly supported just a year ago for the majority of browsers. Reference: https://caniuse.com/#search=SameSite

If you cryptographically sign the session cookie, as suggested in the video, then you accomplish the exact same thing as a JWT token - so, then why use JWT at all, if you going to look up the session data from the database in any case. JWT

Was about to write a rant that it's still not better than cookies & sessions, something that has been standard waay longer than JWT. But this video says all I have to say (2018): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdGO

My use case is for Cloudflare Workers specifically, they have a max-size of 1MB per script and even while doing tests locally in node - the actual worker behave differently, so the only way to really test units is by adding the tests direct

This is actually something I've been looking for, to be able to test script size constrained serverless scripts! Does it work when minified, or does it need node? (By the way, you should probably not require an account to be on your wa

TLDR; Clouds reflect light depending on the amount and how high they are, this contribute to greenhouse effects. Apparently, this wasn't part of the models before.

Indeed, ECC should be _default_ these days! It becomes even worse when RAM Is usually only tested when the computer is built. I've had several cases where RAM becomes faulty a couple of years down the road. Recently I had a very weird

Sounds like they didn't and the metadata logs got corrupted.. This does also mean that other data would be corrupted too, running ZFS without ECC RAM is frequently warned against.

This actually makes me glad to use ZFS (FreeBSD and ZOL) on all servers, a broken RAID on a different filesystem could have meant complete data-loss. From all of the cases I've read where people where not idiots (Not using snapshots an

The savings are in RAM costs due to ELK stack basically not running under 4GB. And larger logs with stack trace are much slower compared to Loki. There's a reason there is no cheap ELK services.

I've been benching it in production. On a 1core 2gb vps it can do around 1200 logs/sec. Compared to ELK, we're saving several hundred $ per month.

In the Audit they pointed this out, but didn't see it as a huge issue. I'd rather they use Argon2id to be as safe as can be. However, I've not yet seen a fully cross-platform javascript-only implementation of Argon2 at all, w

I think it's because Firefox have made their own client and they only want to offer Wireguard connections. Since Wireguard is still a bit new and buggy, they probably want to make sure it's stable and roll out in stages.

I've been using Webarx since they also block public exploits, but it's nice to have a free and open source alternative. Looks really well done and easy to use! Thanks for sharing it :-)
