Node isn't included with JavaScript. No package managers are included with JavaScript. You're splitting hairs about Node/NPM which is completely irrelevant to their point about JavaScript not having package managers built in.

It's standard practice to look at the code alongside a diff. Better yet, use your IDE or a tool to show you far more detail than a diff possibly could. https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/comparing-files-an

Your issue is with the readability of the diff? That is so trivial. You're trying to find anything to complain about at this point. How about just look at the code? You should be doing that anyway.

I really like the walrus operator. It's helped me to create more straightforward if/elif blocks and loops. Effective python has some pretty good examples. https://effectivepython.com/2020/02/02/preve

This whole chain started with someone pointing out the author doesn't seem to realize you can pin versions[1]. I'm just confused how people seemed to end up questioning what pip freeze does. [1] https://news.ycombinator

They're suggesting caring less is the primary reason for rural people driving drunk. The primary reason is a lack of transportation options. Caring less is a byproduct of that, not the reason they do it in the first place.

What do you mean by that? Multiple monitors without an adapter? I have 2017 and 2019 Macbook Pro's and I use 2 27" monitors with a thunderbolt -> 2 HDMI out adapter. I don't think I'd use it without an adapter even if
