Given that datacenter capex spending is the US economy at the moment, a better question will be, what will replace data center spending when we stop building?

it would be interesting if it could use a diffusion model to generate the bitmap then a different model to convert that bitmap to vector format. This could be an interesting way to reason about animations.

This is great for reducing maintenance overhead for code. I have code using SQLITE written in 2008 that is still working without issues.

I think it would be better to tie the grant to the researcher and let them move around if they want. This does not better humanity if they are tied up with a place that is in the political crosshairs by the current administration. Also, DO

It seems like we need two things. First, some type of universal standard to id the country of legal residence of a user. Second, some type of way to know what laws a company needs to comply with to operate in a jurisdiction. There are too

There are a lot of things that come to mind when I read this. First, it use to be the case that companies provide jobs for life and they were more tuned to helping society rather than just looking at the bottom line. That has changed over

I use pgrep -fl <name> instead of ps to find running processes by name. For complex one liners, I keep them in a simple txt file with a brief description so I can find them later when I need to use them again.

I have also found that many of these Arduino projects will also work with MicroBit. This makes it easier for kids to get started as Microsoft MakeCode offers the ability to program with MicroBit with block coding as well as Python and Java

Lack of README files that explain the project, the audience, and provides some good examples. Libraries that change their api surface so much over time that LLMs end up producing code against deprecated versions of the library. More up fro

My take is that only needing a high school diploma to get a good job, affordable housing, and being able to raise a family on a single income likely helped.

My daughter did the Blender donut tutorial and put her 3d animation into the year end art show when she was 10. Having a great community and resources behind the project makes if very easy for students to pick up.

I think we will see more breakthroughs with an AI/Human hybrid approach. Tobias Rees had some interesting thoughts https://www.noemamag.com/why-ai-is-a-philosophical-rupture/ where he poses this idea that AI and
