Not the PP, but for instance, I get everything from the people in my town; every laptop, phone, tablet that they bought a newer substitute for. I have a museum for 60-90’s systems and I never found modern (after 2000) that interesting, howe

In NL a you have healthcare by mandatory insurance (and they cannot refuse you), so I think there is room for a rule like this in NL; I think that’s not the case in the UK or other places like ES and PT.

There is a golden visa ; it has become somewhat stricter basically you can buy a house/property over a certain value (think 350k euros) and that gets you a visa. Sell it after x years when you get a passport.

I have had this issue in NL and ES; both tax offices accepted that the the decision making was not in respectively NL or ES because most of the decision making (directors and shares) were not in either country.

My banks had me sign that my income is not from US. So owning a company in the US that I invoice or that pays dividends or something would not land well.

You mean the NHR? That’s only for 10 years though. Many countries have a similar system (including Spain [0]), either for personal or your company or both. [0] https://www.europeantax.blog/post/102h41p/thinking-of-

Yes, I agree, hence I said not apples to apples, but like said, the same exact vps costs over 10x as much on aws. That’s not good. I encounter 10-10000x higher bills on aws ; most 0s are self inflicted but the last few 0s I don’t think you

Custom silicon for what? AI training sure but what else? Most workloads outside that domain are fine with cheap ARM SoCs. Just call everything ‘compute units’ and deliver SDKs for common envs to package and deploy. No need to inform what yo

In my opinion we should not fight against advances in AI, but rather against having that AI be owned by a few big corps. AI must be open and when it gets to the point you describe, we might not have to work anymore; we need only to guard th
