Mine is on my keychain, which is likely still embedded in the dash after a crash. I guess that's less helpful for those newer vehicles that don't use keys as such.

Good points! Really, I should start with learning Forth on the devices I have first, before getting to concerned about others. ARM does seem like a useful target though, given that they're basically everywhere these days.

OK, so we'd play with zForth then, as BogdanTheGeek notes here. That reminds me, I have a Scamp board sitting here on my desk that I really should play with more. https://udamonic.com/what-is-a-scamp.html

DuskOS apparently runs on ARM, so one of these vape boards running FORTH would likely feel very roomy indeed.

I had an amusing incident that was related, quite some years back as a CS undergrad. One prof had quite poor eyesight, so had a no-pencil rule for assignments. Typed was OK, neat pen was fine also. (My writing has always been atrocious, typ

Do you have an actual source? I'm not saying these numbers are wrong, but anything started with, "according to chatgpt" has already lost the plot.

That project is now commercial, but it still shows flights and aircraft that many of the other commercial ones do not. I agree though, supporting the non-commercial ones is important too. I should update my own feeder to do more.

Sure, years ago, and it's been great. I do keep Vivaldi around as a Chrome-variant for those sites that need it, and appreciate their general approach. However, Firefox has the things I need, e.g.: - Various integrations, such as passw

Right? That’s awesome. With a spare bay, I got an adapter for my Mac-specific SSD, so still have that working in a not-dead, fixable device.

That "made to open up and update" aspect is exactly why I switched when my 2013 (Retina) MBP crapped out. I had just spent $300 CAD to replace the battery, which involved the glued-together mess of battery, top case, keyboard and

That could be an interaction with the meds they take for those conditions, couldn't it? I seem to recall that SSRIs in particular could mitigate the effects of the hallucinogen.

Interesting, thanks. This would have been a number of years ago that we noticed this rejection by our dogs, and also in Canada if that makes any difference. I'll certainly be looking at ingredients going forward.

We stopped buying fake crab (made from pollock), after we noticed that the dogs wouldn't eat it. Don't know what was there to cause that, but since there isn't much they won't eat, we wouldn't either. That bar is ve

Would something like Nix (optionally, NixOS) help in getting all the parts documented and working together?

It might! I imagine we'd still want to run example forms past a lawyer, that sort of thing, but better than starting from scratch.

I and a few others in our community would love to start a tool library, so would love to have a good set of initial policies, software, tutorials and such to start from. For example: - Cost to rent or borrow? - Consumables (people exp

Any thoughts on how you'd decide what tools to rent, or which might be considered too hazardous? For example, I see you have angle grinders, but I'm not sure I'd want to start there if beginning a tool library.

Capsicum looks very cool, but looks like support never got finished in Linux. It's still in FreeBSD, though, other BSDs as well? From what I understand (admittedly little), capabilities in Linux are more about ways to apply granular us

I think the Meshtastic site mentions a few boards, but it probably depends too on what features you want. I picked up a couple Heltec boards with tiny displays to tinker with, though haven't spent enough time there yet.
