Until you find such a display, I recommend you look into platform's accessibility options and invert the colors instead of messing with brightness. Google "black on white" for Mac or "invert colors" for Windows / Linux instructions.

I was going to give a point-by-point on why this article is just plain wrong, but then I came across this gem: > It’s a corner case. Corner cases exist, and if you’re in one, don’t use Core Data. The problem here with Core Data is that

Actually, I had to turn off my gray text on a black background function (Ctrl+Alt+Cmd+8 on a Mac), because it caused a double inversion with this site and I was blinded by the awesomeness.

For HIB 4, I did the same thing you did. But this time I think they're doing a good job at selection (and I like the EFF), so I went default split.

Are the new AWS features posted from accounts that are 2 hours old? blog.parse.com has an rss feed for those who are interested; I'm personally tired of the spam.

I'm impressed that your account is a whole 5 minutes older than your post. I'd be even more impressed if Parse was open source instead of yet another walled-garden PaaS hyped by shills.

$10b of anything that is locked to Apple-only devices (distributed through iBooks or some other app) would likely help Apple sell more hardware. It's harder to say than it would sell enough hardware to be a profitable decision.

Why not? Humans (hopefully) have a much longer lifespan than phones. This should stay true even if Apple merely retains their current market share.

One thing that I'm trying to figure out: if you block all potential "timewasting sites" and only get your information from 1-2 hard news sources, where do you learn about the existence of the tools listed? If you rely on being around "shar

Yeah, I got stuck with this when I started out. Cost of living is low where I live and tech jobs were few. The worst part is that companies will use your salary history against you while you're climbing out of this hole.
