infinite scroll is mystery meat anyway. It breaks the standard affordance of the scroll bar -- that the length of the scroll bar reflects the total length of the page. One of those cases where trying to get clever just results in frustrated

I personally don't give much of a crap about native HTML. That's just a transport, and let's face it, for doing apps it's shit. What I would want it to have is deep linking, back button behaviour and the other nice bits of HTTP.
