coming back after the fact and saying "I know you got a sweet deal on those IP addresses when they were going cheap but we've run out and want them back so we're going to charge you extra" isn't really going to fly. You could argue the same case with domain squatters, or real estate, but it just can't work that way. You could buy them back -- at a premium of course.
- bostonvaulter2 16y agoYou could hypothetically charge a small yearly fee for each IP Address owned. Of course there would be lots of financial hurdles with this approach.
