Yes, and that was exactly my point in my original post... With or without, neither is going to be perfect. At least when not even attempting eye-tracking. But there are still many reasons to do it.

Sure they do, the moving object in focus will not have motion blur but the surroundings will. Motion blur is not indiscriminately adding blur everywhere.

It adds realism. Your vision have motion blur. Staring at your screen at fixed distance and no movement is highly unrealistic and allows you to see crisp 4k images no matter the content. This results in a cartoonish experience because it mi

WSL 1 works fine. I much prefer it over 2 because I only run windows in a VM and nested virtualization support isn't all there. Also feels a lot less intrusive for light terminal work.

Zero cost is an antifeature. It is just centralizing the web. You can do a lot with a $4 droplet if a single board computer isn't your cup of tea. Not "buying" into icloud/cloudfare is alone worth that cost. Also much mo

Which is the point. RAII is very much not only used for memory nor construction. Not saying it is a good term, but we are stuck with it and trying to change it to a better one will only make it worse.

If you know the font in advance (which you often do in these cases) you can do insane reconstructions. Also keep in mind that it doesn't have to be a perfect match, with the help of the color and other facts (such as likely location) a

But you demonstrately did not make it easy or simple. Of course there are tons of alternatives even if you are behind CGNAT. Nebula is but one.

Then why go with tailscale in the first place? There is slacks nebula and other options that are completely self-hosted from the start. Feels like such a weird hype around tailscale.

That is table stakes. So, rewind 5 years. Introduce that, remove attestation while you are at it. And make sure we have multiple compatible implementations. Without it passkeys are a sham. And since that was and is the case I don't see

It doesn't have the killer feature of passkeys though, vendor lock-in. Which is the sole purpose of them.

I guess there is nothing wrong with javascript either? Humanity has proven it can't handle anything else than static pages. Then the developers themselves have to pay for their bloat rather than the users.

Search for alternative first. If it doesn't exist: purchase and download the file from amazon and remove the DRM.

Reading the manual to actually tune it or reading the manual to know the limitations? All I've ever tried it for is pixel perfect super high contrast text but still the results doesn't exactly impress.

Thanks! And good job, it is quite thorough. I have not done my research and I feel that I completely lack intuition for this. (How much ventilation is needed and how come many of these dryers don't / barely let the humid air out?

Yes, Your phone or laptop though... that we dont have regulations that at least require manufacturers to give users the option to not charge to 100% is beyond me. Many billions of batteries and thus billions of devices needlessly scrapped.

Thanks, the S4 looks really nice. But it seems like they shafted their kickstarter supporters. Risk is of course part of the deal but Sunlu is an established brand and is actively selling the same device they don't deliver to the peopl

I only skimmed for now and will keep a lookout for the mentioned post about the Creality. But all filament dryers I've seen so far seems to be pure garbage I'd never trust in my home. Which kind of makes sense, they are easy and c

Why does it need to be cached though? The only case where it might be downloaded more than once is if the user has multiple clients. Not that common and still very little traffic.
