This seems great, and I've always wanted something like this (though for me, the cloud is a dealbreaker). A bit too expensive for my uses, I think the corporate use-case makes much more sense so good for targeting that! I'd prefer

We are not confident in any of that. Which is why we mitigate it with checksums, ECC etc. So depending on the consequences you might opt to reduce the risk or help mitigate the consequences. To just state that it is about as likely as my co

Agree. But the argument put forward in favor of automatic memory management is that it speeds up development. But if that is only true if you don't care about the architecture that argument doesn't hold (assuming you want a good a

The promise with a good architecture is that the doom part is more infrequent though. And that when the Go/Java doom scenario bites you you'll have a whole lot of technical debt to pay back.

Maybe for prototypes or small scripts but disagree otherwise. The promise of automatic memory management is that you don't have to think about memory. But the second you don't think about memory you are doomed to write bad code an

This is not a bitcoin mining rig. And no, it wouldn't start to throttle, it would stop turbo. And the primary purpose of turbo is to get short bursts that the CPU might not even be able to maintain regardless of cooling system. Designi
