I don't see the appeal of using these mini-PCs. Using an old second hand power supply is enough to turn me away. And the PI has many advantages. Power supply dies? I can order a new one in literally seconds. And meanwhile I wait for it

I get what you are saying, and if anything all the "attacks" in the logs should build you some confidence. Oh, so 98% of all attacks assume I haven't changed the root password? I must be ahead in the game then. But the way yo

For Tesla yes, because it can't be trusted. Allowing you to not touch the wheel while still expecting you to jump in at any time isn't an improvement by any measure. Any remote watcher can't be expected to avoid a crash in re

Tried it in a container with only "set -g mouse on" in the config and it works fine (v. 3.2a). My best guess is that your terminal selection is overriding tmux.

tmux keeps the selection to the pane for me. Not something I make use of though, feels faster to copy using the keyboard instead.

Economics of scale and an absurd amount of investments I guess? There seems to be many synergies around using energy storage in batteries for transportation.

No I agree, that was exactly my point. It's not like iOS users care anyway, or they wouldn't use iOS in the first place.

I agree plain text has a lot of appeal. But support for embedded mathematical typesetting, images etc, being solved feels like a stretch. I mean sure, you can do it, but now you are on the other end of function over form. I feel like PDFs a

I've never heard of anyone proclaim 30 deg c as being "so chill". Also much hotter than what I would expect a cathedral to be. But then again, I am sensitive to heat.

Windows for all it's faults is a very open ecosystem, in contrast Macs aren't that appealing. Especially if you aren't running iphones and ipads etc. I do agree that Recall isn't the reason to switch though. The abuse

Without calibration do you know you are in spec? If I bought a car and 5 min into driving it tells me that the camera system is defective you are not gonna have a happy customer.

Windows and OS X had the same/similar problems. On consuner hardware at that time you probably couldn't make firewire secure.

Surely you can just fix the cmd-tab behavior? I've always imagined the defaults were tuned for non-techies, because they don't exactly do well with many windows.
