The 30%/70% was for other digital storefronts, not direct sales through your own store. Kagi and the like are more akin to payment processors.

I think what you want could be solved by a better search. If there was a better search you could search for an 8-bit platformer game and find a list of them. Tagging doesn't really add anything that a better search couldn't provid

In Canada, you can't get the e-file code if you've moved in the tax year so you have to mail in your tax return.

What surprises me most is that the US doesn't seem to have the same law as here in Canada. Here, pretty much only the bank, government, or your employer can ask for your social as that's the law. Plus, they don't send it in t

In Canada, you get a unique code (for that year) physically mailed to your address from the 2013 return (unless you change addresses). If you change addresses in a tax year, you can't file electronically. It's not technically a PI

I'm part of the SymPy project and we opted out of a similar program tip4commit. It's a bit easy to game. If you do it per commit, someone could just break up their work in smaller commits. The same thing with pull requests. I can

I've been working on a paper from my PhD thesis. I have 10 pages of derivations before I even get to the solution of the equations, include figures, or perform analysis. It could easily be a 30 to 40 page paper. Cutting it down or spli

Basically all of my Master's and PhD work involved scientific programming, but it was definitely not data scientist work. You're making a big assumption that science is statistics. There's scientific simulations (and deriving

As part of my PhD, I developed a Maple package for deriving FEM element matrices from first principles. My supervisor, despite years of work related to FEM and having done a lot of Maple programming didn't understand a lot of my code a

This is one reason why it's often thought that a long-term station in Earth orbit (possibly at one of the Lagrange points) is a pre-requisite for a Mars mission. So, you could decelerate to the station instead of to re-entry. But, it i

The only problem with trimming away something you feel is obvious is that if you need to go back to the notes quite some time afterwards, it might not appear obvious at that time. It's just like when you don't comment something in

I improved my grades in the later undergrad years by taking the notes from class and re-writing them in a nice form (like you using colour and cleaning it up) into bound notebooks, like the kind used for log books. Then, if I needed to revi

Typing notes doesn't work well in all classes, though. I can't write equations down on a computer as fast as I write, especially complex ones. Figures are also another problem. I've seen undergrad classes where the students g

While Porco Rosso has a good female character in Fio, the lead is male, so that's another. Basically, while there's a lot of excellent female characters in Ghibli films, there are still a number of their films with male leads.
