I know this is the smallest part I could take out of the post.. but Fremont - Ghetto? Maybe OP meant East Palo Alto, or Oakland, but IMO Fremont is one of the safest, homey places to live in the Bay Area. But then again, maybe I'm hanging o

I would disagree on that. For their physical products they've actually had very good customer support - When I had questions about my Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 coming in I was able to get a support rep very quickly and have my questions answered

I can see where you're coming from - it does sound weird. If it makes you feel more comfortable you can think of it as if the daughter spoke of what she wanted to say, and the Mom cleaned up the grammar.

If you'd truly get a faster response being a Pro member, then it might be worth a shot to purchase Pro again - then when they respond, have them refund you and reset your account back to it's previous time left for your membership.

The problem here is stated in your first sentence: "I'm not a programmer." A lot, if not all of this, just kind of "clicks" if you've already worked with something similar in some shape or form in the past. Things I'd mark off your list as

I don't see prices anywhere, but I'm assuming this is one of those "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" type things.

I'd argue with a few points made in this article. Subvocalization can most definitely be minimized - Not removed completely, but minimized. The article brought out a study from NASA stating that there were minute muscle movements, which I w

Great list of resources! My blog post today was actually addressing how my design skills are lacking so this couldn't be more relevant to me, thanks for the share!

Great idea! I didn't make a post out of it, just had a few in mind that I wanted to visit, but it turned into me landing a job offer and moving across the country. If that's not what you're shooting for, I'm sure you'll still have a great t

I think this is what I like about running - although as walking would be less physically demanding I'm sure your thoughts may wander a bit more (That being the goal here).

I think it's just the trade off here. You want a fairly seamless experience when putting on the glasses - so headphones would distract from that; also when having to choose between good quality from the device as opposed to good quality whe

Awesome! For some reason when I want to turn around very quick (Left/Right + Down or Left/Right + Up depending which way I'm going) I just "Die". I wouldn't run into myself in that case, so not sure what's going on. Apart from that, very co

I wouldn't completely agree with this. There's a time trade off - If someone can learn more efficiently by doing things on their own vs. attending a university - It could be a loss. Of course this varies for each person.

There are a lot of other angles we can look at this as well: The user ("I need.."), The cocky contributor ("This is right, accept my pull request!"), The belittled contributor ("I'm not sure.. but let me try.."), The helpful leader ("I can'
