I beg to disagree. That makes the assumption that alien civilizations are in the same technologic era as the earth. I don't see any reasons to believe they'll be using the RF spectrum. Simply because RF is about all we can manage

Just because Snowden says something does not make it newsworthy. It's more likely that we and the aliens wouldn't be using the same technology.

A number of years ago, this practice was known as the "good enough to ship" philosophy and attributed to Microsoft. Mr. Patel nailed it. This does a disservice to the client by giving them a bug ridden product that had neither suf

IMHO, it is important to share such an occurrence about a contracting employer with those in your field who take contract work. Standard & Poor had that habit in the 90s. It wasn't worth the grief to pursue them, but I did pass alo

If you have a preference for a hot meal, check if the specials are heated. I've had a couple of cold (they were supposed to be cold) meals that I didn't really like. I agree about the alcohol. If I'll need to start working as

It probably has something to do with the amount of data. The file I did when I checked was 11k. I think it's a pretty cool trick, too.

Absolutely, just like Hamburger and Burger. Mayo is a nickname, as is burger. The egg board is just a smiley face for people having a vested interest in selling eggs. They aren't English majors. The lawyers will open a dictionary and p

They call it "vegan mayo" so you know what the real product it replaces is. Just like the vegan burger patties. If they didn't specify, then their product could be just about any sort meat patty replacement. This way you know

Without any agenda, I suggest you research why some prisoners are in permanent isolation. A large percentage of them are there because they assault/murder other inmates or guards.

You should all be using a VPN, even if it only connects to a server in the next city. It's more for basic privacy from their intrusion more than anything security related. The less your ISP knows about you, the better off you are.
