I totally agree with your points 1 and 4. Ofcourse your processor can calculate sound, but it's the AC that is important. When I plug in my headphones in my onboard soundcard and move my mouse I'm hearing noise and hiss. When I play music I

I don't get why people use short URLs. Yours isn't working already. And I could never know where the link is taking me. Maybe it will take me to your honeypot.

" All possible emergency situations have been tested."* It's hard to believe this. Sometimes humans are getting a little haughty. What about a small comet? What about lack of recourses maintaining the thing? I'm still not convinced nuclear

Well you can have a secure in-box yourself, but your e-mail will still be sent to untrusted providers. Another option is to give a certificate to your contact and send all conversations encrypted. edit: oops, I did not notice bhousel's pos

A thing I don't like about Unity are the context-menus. When your application is fullscreen they are ok, but when your window is smaller it's strange to have the context menu still on top of your screen. I also never understood why Apple is

Most drugs are not mind expanders, but blockage solvers. We care a lot about what others say and think. This is blocking our creativity. But you don't need drugs to solve this blockage. You can train yourself letting creativity flow and don

I understand the downvotes, but I think there is some truth in 'put the coffee down'. A lot of people think about the how to, but sometimes you just have to put the coffee down and act. When you feel the step is to big to take at once, just

Your comment is making clear Apple does a great job letting you believe this. Your statement about Smart phones is just plain false. Samsung alone is outnumbering iPhones. Apple is zigging best with the iPad. But then again other tablets ar

If you are not going to hire a designer here are some beginner tips: - choose at most 1 or 2 sizes (like 5pixels and 15pixels) - use only x*size for all your sizes (image sizes, margins, paddings) - choose only 2 or 3 colors (kuler.

Grooveshark did not make a stand against the music industry. They made a stand against Google and the RIAA. Seems like Google is afraid of the RIAA and just drops anything from the store the RIAA doesn't like.

Totally agree. It took me a while to learn how to use the UI. But when I did I was amazed about it's usefulness. Shortcuts are very easy for your hand (using qwerty layout). It all feels very natural. I worked with 3D studio 1 (DOS) up to 3

Problem with cheap devices like this one is battery life. You are lucky if you can keep it up to 2 hours. And the touchscreens are not the best in the world. Even the capacitive ones. But if you just keep it connected and don't worry about
