Unfortunately even real newspapers are having more and more misleading headlines. In some newspapers you can even read facts taken from Twitter. Sometimes it seems we are going for the democratic truth.

Well that's why SVG is implemented. <img src="my_svg_logo.svg" alt=""> Now you even support more browsers.

Ah, I'm totally wrong. 5K (14Mpx) is todays cinema format. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_cinema "The marketshare of 2K projection in digital cinemas is over 98%."

Ofcourse the SD TV show will look less sharp then the HD version scaled to SD. But this doesn't have anything to do with my question. Last time I checked HD is around 2Mpx. Why would you need 14Mpx as source material? 7 times oversampling?

The thing is, I can't imagine that. My grandma never touched a computer. But she still is part of our society.

What a crap. "It will prove to be deadly." but no answer is given. If you are terrified of Facebook, just stop using it. Maybe an upvoter can explain the upvote?

Can anyone explain the use of such high resolutions? I know it could be nice to crop some parts of the movie and still have a nice set of pixels. But in reality you will just shoot the scene again or leave it out. Nowadays everybody is shoo

When it comes to unpleasant thoughts I'm more scared of this robot bird: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnR8fDW3Ilo When you see a quadcopter hovering you know you are being watched. But with the bird it's a different story.

I checked the lanyrd.com stylesheet. I'm sorry to say but if your stylesheet is this big you are doing it wrong. 100K for a compressed stylesheet! So I'm not so sure her technique is a winner.

"The study found a steady rise in those claiming no religious affiliation." No religious affiliation does not mean people are becoming non-believers. I hear a lot of people who believe (in whatever) but don't want to be marked as religiou

I don't think this has anything to do with the medium. You could create one track on a CD with all the songs, commercials included. But this will be so annoying nobody will buy it. If you don't like the commercials a producer is putting on

Ofcourse everybody has a different top. But most stories like this one start with a descent position. But even the crappiest job can be a million miles away when you don't have access to education, internship, a career ladder.

"Most musicians nowadays want more than the ability to record and play back audio tracks." This sounds like you can only record and play back audio on Linux. A very false statement. Renoise is available for Linux and can be used in live s

Amazing that his mind adapted so that he in fact sees (the echo as a flash of light). I don't think this is a fake story since what we see happens in the mind, not in our eyes.
