That’s why the article suggests using a uuid v6 which is time orderable. Or prefixing with an incrementing db id. So indeed, if you intend to delete events, you might want to make sure you have orderable ids of some sort.

Does that ever provide you with anything more than a lame summary? I mean Gemini models can do a lot, but I don’t have the feeling they’ve well integrated tbh.

Plenty of websites can live with the reduced complexity of having their static files served directly by python. Hence it exists, and is useful.

Interestingly the examples don’t show interaction with <form>. In the deletion confirm example, can I put this inside a form and have it continue to POST when confirmed and cancelled when cancel is hit in the popover? If I still need

What’s the equivalent of meltano’s (singer) taps in Bruin? There’s already hundreds out there that no one is wanting to duplicate of course :)

I’m a bit surprised to hear that is the state of migrations in Rails. Being a Django developer I’m used to having most of the points you mention covered for a really long time already. It’s timeless by looking at a captured schema, that d

No, that’s not the same. On a 4-way stop you have to completely stop. Also how I remember my year in the US (I’m from NL) is that the first to reach the stop has right of way, not the “left” one. But I might be wrong on that last one? D

Most of the comments here seem to gear towards “you must always…”. But as you rightfully point out, “it depends” and is an architectural trade off depending our the required qualities.

Do you have anything to support that claim? Because in my belief this follows normal thermodynamics, which means that if the energy dissipation over an amount of time is less than the energy cost to heat, it makes sense to do it. Do you thi

In the Netherlands gaps aren’t allowed either, and I’m surprised that it is elsewhere, as that allows to you get rid of unwanted invoices whenever you want. However you are allowed to have multiple sequences, differentiated through a prefix

That fully depends on the level of insulation. Newly build houses here in The Netherlands rarely cool down when heating is off, and the temperature stays generally stable, even when you are out (and the heating is off). My Quooker is so wel
