As a general rule, no. A lot of the preprints assume a detailed (grad level) understanding of the problem and they explain just enough to frame the problem in order to introduce their solution. I wager someone going down this path would g

One additional point I'll make -- if the company baulks or treats you poorly if you ask for market-rate think long and hard about whether you want to work for them. It usually indicates a toxic internal culture.

They are getting you cheap and you should be aware that this is a common tactic in the UK. They know you will not know going rate/be willing to take a paycut to get into the UK so your best bet would be to (1) work out how much you ca

Surely the moment I have a vulnerability that allows me to execute code (via a buffer overflow or similar) I have the ability to run the code that adds that feature? In my understanding even if I have a piece of code that just loops printin

Your response confuses me so I must be misunderstanding it. Code is code, all I need is an indirect jump to a pointer somewhere in memory to run the arbitrary code I've installed to compromise the system, so why are unikernels not susc

Thank you very much for your response. Some follow-up questions, in the same order as your responses: 1. So, in production, we do this all the time with the kernel. We have specific .config's that we use on a per-app basis so I'
