I love synths, and this is an incredibly impressive collection! My studio for the most part used synth modules, chiefly due to space constraints - and everything was set up for automation & recording from within the DAW. Unfortunately I

I'd been using the much cheaper Lamy Al Star (admittedly also a step up from the plastic Lamy Safari) for a while, and I really liked the feel of them. To be honest, I kind of just wanted a nicer version of that, and the 2000 did not d

My first full time software engineering paycheque went towards a Lamy 2000. I've been using it for many years now and it's never let me down.

I've been trying to use social media to promote my music & mobile app for years, to very little luck. I don't even really like using social media, but it felt "necessary" in order to "make it," even though

Yup, straight up GDscript so far. It's a wonderful language for iterating quickly - and so far I have not needed the extra performance of C#. And the performance bottlenecks that are in place so far are mostly due to the architecture -

Thanks for asking, the game is made in Godot. It's great for UI heavy gameplay such as my game, and an absolute joy to work with.

The advice in here is really good, and it's helped me personally quite a lot. One thing to bear in mind is that the negotiation process _does not start at the offer stage_. It starts as soon as a recruiter/hiring manager gets in t

The point about being disconnected with tactile sensation is very poignant. I've experimented with crafts before, but my go-to hobby has always been music - stringed instruments like the guitar. There's something very rewarding ab

This looks promising, but I wonder what advantages it has over Rust. Community support is very important for a programming language, and given that this is the first time I am hearing about this project, it still has some way to go. Edit: A

Thanks for the work you put into this, Simon. I've had a great experience with LLM, it's amazing for quickly iterating on AI application ideas.

That was a very fun read! While I’m using Godot for my hacking simulator game, Botnet of Ares [0] I think the native C# approach is very much justified in this case, and Noel clearly has had massive success with Celeste. I like Godot becaus
